When I travel outside the Jackson area, an organization or school must schedule at least 4 sessions.
Each school, library, or organization receives an autographed copy of both my books, which is included in the cost.
I am a member of the Mississippi Arts Commission's Artist Roster as a literary artist and as a teaching artist. This means that an organization or school may apply for grant funding to cover up to half of my fee. For more information, visit the Mississippi Arts Commission's website.

Literacy Nights
Are you looking for something special to spur parent involvement in reading? My presentation is the story of a family's journey of discovery and inquiry, with stops along the way for direct observation, research, hypothesizing, and reflection. I will teach a simple bookmaking form, the instant book, which parents can take home.
